THE MAGIC WORKSHOP 
An introductory course in the Art of Illusion for Adults

Have you always wanted to learn the Art of Magic to amaze your family and friends? Now is your chance! Our Introductory Course in the Art of Illusion for Adults will teach you how to perform incredible tricks, captivate audiences and master the art of misdirection.

No experience necessary, so enroll today and start your magical journey!

The course includes in-person lessons by an experienced professional magician as well as all the notes and equipment needed. Evening classes take place over a 5-week period, consisting of a weekly two-hour session, hosted at The College of Magic in Claremont. There is also a 1-day intensive training course option, fitting the entire course into a Saturday between 10am and 3pm. 

The course covers card handling, rope & coin magic, tricks with everyday objects, mentalism (magic of the mind) and magic with special apparatus. 

The Adult Magic Course runs throughout the year whenever there is enough interest in filling up a class; and is being presented by South African Magic Champs 2023 winner and president of the Cape Magicians Circle – Alexander May.
