Alex the Magician started performing magic at parties and events seriously in 1998. After establishing himself as one of Cape Town's busiest magicians he is one of the few performers who is able to do this on a professional level.
His shows are geared towards children of all ages - from 4 to 84! The typical show runs between 30-40 minutes depending on the age group - and there are LOADS of audience participation! This means they are not just spectators - they actually take part in the magic!
Alex the Magician arrives fully prepared and all that is needed from you side is a performance space inside / under covers and a table and chair. The set-up time for the show is only about 15 minutes and doesn't require you breaking down your house!
You will see money appear out of nowhere, then change to even more money! Cards magically multiply and then shrink before your eyes... Ropes are cut numerous times but keep restoring itself, silk handkerchiefs disappear and reappear! And of course, Alex the Magician will even teach you some magic you can do yourself!
Basic balloon animals can also be included after the magic show is done.
